"I'd like to visit the Philippines? Am I required to get a visa?"

Nationalities from 151 countries visa-free for 30 days beginning August 2013!

The Philippine Bureau of Immigration (BI) says:
If you are classified as a non-restricted national and your country has diplomatic ties/bilateral agreement with the Philippines, you are not required to secure an entry visa.

30 IS THE NEW 21
BI says that based on a Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) memo, the visa-free entry privilege of foreigners is now extended from 21 days to 30 days with the following conditions:
  • with passports that are valid for at least six months beyond the foreigners intended period of stay
  • with return tickets to their country of origin or onward tickets to their next country of destination
      • However, Immigration Officers at ports of entry may exercise their discretion to admit holders of passports valid for at least sixty (60) days beyond the intended period of stay.
