no need to show printed plane tickets in airports says DOJ

Philippine airports are starting to go paperless. All passengers have to do is present the digital version of the plane tickets from their smartphones or tablets at the immigration counter (take note, it's immigration. so, only international departures).

While I haven't tried presenting a digital plane ticket yet, here's hoping this new policy is in synch with the carriers. Otherwise, it's useless if airlines insist on seeing the printed ticket.

The new policy is by virtue of Operations Order No. SBM-2013-003 entitled “Removing the Requirement of Presentation of the Printed Hard Copy of Return and/or Onward Passage Ticket.”

  2. If booking is made in advance anyone can get cheap domestic flight tickets and it has become very easy in recent years through internet.
